In addition to our Growing Up On Our Block curriculum, Growing Room offers optional extracurricular programs designed to enrich your child’s mind and body.
About the Programs
Each Growing Room features a dedicated extracurricular room, where specialized instructors provide additional learning opportunities during the regular school day. These programs are available for an additional fee and are optional for children age two and older.

Dance (Ballet and Tap)

Acting Classes
Music

These activities are designed to expand your child’s skills, creativity, and confidence while complementing our core curriculum.

Company C Academy of Dance offers dance classes onsite. Our classes consist of ballet & tap for ages 2 and up for boys and girls. We offer a non-competitive class where children can learn and practice movement skills to aid in balance, coordination and rhythm in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our instructors create a great foundation for children interested in continuing with dance or other activities such as gymnastics, cheerleading or sports. We strive to make sure our students not only increase confidence, learn dance technique and terminology but always have a fun and enjoyable experience. All dancers are given the opportunity to perform in our fully staged recital at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts the first Saturday in June each year.
